But in front of the person you like, you can show your own self.

Then person you love comes into your mind every 2 minutes.
You can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love
But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them
But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.

The feeling of love starts from the eye
And the feeling of like starts from the ear.

So if you stop liking a person you used to like
All you need to do is cover your ears,
But if you try to close your eyes

HOW TO STOP WORRYING AND START LIVING

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.
Harapnya semua pembaca di dalam keadaan sihat dan tiada kerisauan didalam diri. Alhamdulillah kerisauan yang minggu lalu yang begitu banyak mencengkam diri telah berakhir dengan test 2 finance tadi, Alhamdulillah, syukur pada Allah. Assignment juga sudah berakhir, masa untuk mulakan perang final examination starting 30hb ni.  Ya Allah. Permudahkanlah segalanya.

Seperti yang saya janjikan saya ingin berkongsi sebuah lagi buku karangan DALE CARNEGIE, iaitu Buku. "HOW TO STOP WORRYING AND START LIVING". Semoga kita semua mendapat manfaat yang sama.

PART 1: FUNDAMENTAL FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WORRY
Rule 1: If you want to avoid worry, do what Sir William Osler did, Live in 'day-tight compartments' Don't stew about the future. Just live each day until bedtime.
Rule 2: The next time trouble- with a Capital T-backs you up in a corner, try the magic formular of wills H. Carrier:

  • Ask yourself, "What is the worst that can possibly happen If I can't solve my problem?"
  • Prepare yourself mentally to accept the worst-if necessary.
  • Then calmly try to improve upon the worst-which you have already mentally agreed to accept.
Rule 3: Remind yourself of the exorbitant price you can pay for worry in terms of your health. "Those who do not know how to fight worry die young"

PART 2: BASIC TECHNIQUES IN ANALYZING WORRY
Rule1: Get the facts. Remember that Deen Hawkes of Columbia University said that, 'Half the worry in theb world is caused by people trying to make decisions before they have sufficient knowledge on which to base a decision.'
Rule2: After carefully weighing all the facts, come to a decision.
Rule3: Once a decision is carefully reached, act! Get busy carrying out your decision-and dismiss all anxiety about the outcome.
Rule4: When you, or any of your associates, are tempted to worry about a problem, write out and answer the following questions:
  • What is the problem?
  • What is the cause of the problem?
  • What are all possible solutions?
  • What is the best solutions?
PART 3: HOW TO BREAK THE WORRY HABIT BEFORE IT BREAKS YOU
Rule1: Crowd worry out of your mind by keeping busy. Plenty of action is one of the best therapies ever devised for curing 'wibber gibbers'.
Rule 2: Don't fuss about trifles. Don't permit little things- the mere termites of life-to ruin your happiness.
Rule 3: Use the law of average to outlaw your worries. Ask yourself: 'What are the odds against this thing's happening at all?'
Rule 4: Cooperate with the inevitable. If you know a circumstance is beyond your power to change or revise, say to yourself: 'It is so; it cannot be otherwise.'
Rule 5: Put a 'stop-loss' order on your worries. Decide just how much anxiety a thing may be worth-and refuse to give it any more.
Rule 6: Let the past bury its dead. Don't saw sawdust.

PART 4: SEVEN WAYS TO CULTIVATE A MENTAL ATTITUDE THAT WILL BRING YOU PEACE AND HAPPINESS.
Rule 1:  Let's fill our minds with thought of peace, courage, health and hope, for 'our life is what or thoughts make for'.
Rule 2: Let's never try to get even with our enemies, because if we do we will hurt ourselves far more than we hurt them. Let's do as General Eisenhower does: "Let's never waste a minute thinks about people we don't like".
Rule 3:
 A) Instead of worrying about ingratitude let's expect it. Let's remember that Allah, its better for us and only thanks Him. Why should we expect more gratitude than Allah give us. It is natural for people to forget to be grateful, so if we go around expecting gratitude, we are headed straight for a lot of heartaches.
B) Let's remember that the only way to find  happiness is not to expect gratitude but give for the joy of giving.
C) Let's remember gratitude is a 'cultivated trait; so if we want our children to be grateful, we must train them to be grateful.
Rule 4: Count your blessing- not your troubles!
Rule 5: Let's not imitate others. Let's find ourselves and be ourselves, for 'envy is ignorance' and 'imitation is suicide'.
Rule 6: When fate hands us a lemon, let's try to make a lemonade.
Rule 7: Let's forget our own unhappiness-by trying to create a little happiness for others. 'When you are good to others, you are best to yourself'.

PART 5: THE PERFECT WAY TO CONQUER WORRY

PRAYER!---> Make a good relationship with Allah-strengthen it!

  • Its help us to put into words exactly what is troubling us. We ask help for a problem-even for Allah, we must put it into words.
  • It gives us a sense of sharing our burdens, of not being alone. Sometimes, we can't tell someone our troubles when we can't tell anyone else-we can always tell Allah.
  • Prayer puts into force an active principle of doing. It's a first step toward action.
World Famous Scientist, Dr. Alexis Carrel, said: 
"Prayer is the most powerful form of energy one can generate."

PART 6: HOW TO KEEP FROM WORRYING ABOUT CRITICISM
Rule 1: Remember that "unjust criticism is often a disguised compliment. It often means that you have aroused jealousy and envy". Remember that no one ever kicks a dead dog.
Rule 2: Do the very best you can and then put up your old umbrella and keep the rain of criticism for running down the back of neck.
Rule 3: Let's keep a record of the fool things we have done and criticize ourselves. Since we can't hope to be perfect, let's do what E.H. Little said : Let's ask for unbiased, helpful, constructive criticism.

PART 7: SIX WAYS TO PREVENT FATIGUE AND WORRY AND KEEP YOUR ENERGY AND SPIRIT HIGH.
Rule 1: Rest before you get tired.
Rule 2: Learn to relax at  your work.
Rule 3: Learn to relax at home.
Rule 4: Apply these for good working habits.
  • Clear your desk of all papers except those relating to the immediate problem at hand.
  • Do things the order of their importance. 
  • When you face a problem, solve it then and there if you have the facts necessary to make a decision.
  • Learn to organize, deputize and supervise.
Rule 5: To prevent worry and fatigue, put enthusiasm into your work.
Rule 6: Remember, no one was ever killed by lack of sleep. It is worrying about insomnia that does the damage-not the insomnia. 

PART 8: "HOW I CONQUERED WORRY"

  • Remember today is tomorrow you worried about yesterday. Ask yourself, How do I know this thing I am worrying about will really come to pass. (by C.I. Blackwood)

  • Here is a method that deserve a whole chapter. Read history! Try to get the viewpoint of ten thosand years- and see how trivial your troubles are, in terms of eternity!
Story 3: I lived in the Garden of Allah by R.V.C Bodley, author of wind in the Sahara, The Messenger.
  • When the fierce, burning wind blow over - and we can't prevent them let us too, accept the inevitable
  • (Part 3: and then get busy and pick up the pieces!)
Story 4: Five method I have used to banish worry by Prof. William Lyon Phelps.
  • Live with gusto and enthusiasm. ' I live everyday as if it were the first day I had ever seen and the last I were going to see.'
  • Read and interesting book.
  • Play games ' when I was terrible depressed, I forced myself to become physically active almost every hour of the day.'
  • Try to see my troubles in their proper perspectives.
  • J.C.Pemney learned to overcome worry almost instantaneousness because he discovered the one perfect cure-God.
Story 5: I was the worrying wreck from Virginia Tech by Jim Birdsali.

By Prof Baid give his 3 rules to break worry habit.
  • Find out precisely what is the problem you are worry about.
  • Find out the cause of the problem.
  • Do something constructive at once about solving the problem.
Story 6: By Percy H.Whiting, author of the five great rules of selling 

The point of this is: Don't take yourself too seriously. Try just laughing at some of your sillier worries and see if you can't laugh them out of existence.

How To Win Friends and Influence People


Assalamualaikum. Kali ni saya nak kongsikan pasal satu buku, kat atas  ini, bagi saya ianya sangat menarik dan isinya mantap dan gaya bahasanya mudah difahami. Buku ini bertajuk How to Win Friends and Influence People, tulisan Dale Carnegie.


        Pasti ramai yang sudah membacanya, kan? Cuma saya saja yang ketinggalan hehehe.Ya la, buku ini kan popular dan sekarang ni dah ada terjemahannya kalau saya tak tersilap. Penah jumpa jugak kat MPH tapi tak teringin pun nak beli tapi tadi, lepas saya solat zohor, masih awal lagi, so kaki saya melangkah ke "Resourse Centre", perpustakaan kecil di Kuliyyah saya. Hmm nak buat apa ya? Saya pun membelik-belik buka kat  rak tepi meja saya dan terjumpalah buku ni. Saya tak baca sangat pun tapi just tengok isi-isi penting dan cuba baca sikit-sikit penerangannya. Tapi buku ni memang mudah faham dan Ia adalah salah satu buku motivasi.

PART 1: TECHNIQUE IN HANDLING PEOPLE


Principle 1: Don't Criticize, condemn or complain.
Principle 2: Give honest and sincere appreciation.
Principle 3: Arouse in the other person an eager want.


PART 2: 6 WAYS TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE YOU


Principle 1: Became genuinely interested in other people.
Principle 2: Simple way to make first impression---> SMILE
Principle 3: Remember that person's name is to that person the sweetest and the most important sound in any language.
Principle 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
Principle 5: How to interest people---> Talk in terms of the other's interest.
Principle 6: How to make people like you instantly--> make the other person feel important and do it sincerely.


PART 3: HOW TO WIN PEOPLE TO YOUR WAY OF THINKING.


Principle 1: The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it


(HOW TO KEEP A DISAGREEMENT FROM BECOMING AN ARGUMENT)

  • Welcome the disagreement means we must be tolerance.
  • Distrust your first instinctive impression--> be careful, keep calm and watch out for your first. reaction.
  •  Control your temper
  • Listen first.
  • Look or find the areas of agreement.

  • Thank your opponent sincerely for their interest.
  • Postpone action to give both side time to thinks through the problem.

Principle 4: Begin in a friendly way.
Principle 5: Get the other person, saying 'Yes, Yes' immediately.

Principle 8: Try honestly  to see things from the other person's point of view.
Principle 9: Be sympathetic with the other person's ideas and desires.
Principle 10: Appeal to the nobler motives.
Principle 11: Dramatize your ideas.
Principle 12: Throw down a challenge.

PART 4: BE A LEADER 

(HOW TO CHANGE PEOPLE WITHOUT GIVING OFFENCE OR AROUSING RESENTMENT)

A leader's job often includes changing your people's attitudes and behavior.
Some suggestions to accomplish this:

Principle 1: Begin with praise and honest appreciations.
Principle 2: Call attention to people's mistake indirectly.
Principle 3: Talk about your own mistake before criticizing the other person.
Principle 4: Ask questions instead of giving direct orders.
Principle 5: Let the other person save face.
Principle 6: Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement. Be 'hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise'.
Principle 7: Give the other person a fine reputation to live up too.
Principle 8: Use encouragement. Make the fault seem easy to correct.
Principle 9: Make the other person happy about doing the thing you suggest.

Kenapa saya post puisi ni sebab saya sedang merasai yang sahabat-sahabat saya sedang bertungkus lumus menyiapkan assignment masing-masing dan sedang menghitung detik final exam yang bakal kunjung tiba di penghujung bulan ini. Mungkin ada yang mengalami stress disebabkan kekusutan memikirkan segala macam hal dan keadaan mereke.

Bersabarlah dan cubalah pujuk diri masing-masing dengan ayat ini:

"...Allah tidak akan membebani seseorang melainkan sesuai dengan kesanggupannya."
(Surah Al-Baqarah:286)

Cuba buat satu persatu dengan tenang dan jangan campur adukkan. Listkan dahulu mengikut keutamaan. InsyaAllah sama-sama kita cuba praktikkan. Berkenaan Final Exam pula, sekarang ni dah boleh kita plankan jadual study mengikut tarikh exam, subjek membaca dan mengira. Cuba buat jadual mengikut keupayaan masing-masing. We must start from now. InsyaAllah semoga Allah Talla memberikan kemudahan buat kita semua.

Hadiah Untukmu

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Alhamdulillah, syukur ke hadrat ilahi hingga ke hari ini, diri ini masih lagi diberi kesempatan untuk menghirup udara segar dan melihat keindahan ciptaanNya. Tiada kata yang dapat kugambarkan melainkan Alhamdulillah, sujud syukur ku setiap hari tanda terima kasihku padaMu.

Last week, Alhamdulillah tanpa diduga kad saya terpilih diantara yang tercantik dan menerima hadiah dari madam, huhu sungguh terharu, kesusahan kemarin dibalas dengan kegembiraan. Ada 6 orang yang mendapat hadiah dari madam, 2 lelaki dan 4 perempuan. huh sungguh tak percaya kad lelaki sangat cantik. Beriben-riben lagi. Kreatif juga. Bak kata madam juga, dah terbukti apa yang saya katakan, lelaki uga kreatif dan hadiah ini tanda saya ingin membalas kerja kamu yang bertungkus lumus itu. "Aikkk, tahu plak madam aku tak tidur malam". Tapi fikir-fikir balik, bukan madam yang nak bagi tapi Allah yang mengilhamkan kepada madam, hehehe ^_^

Jadi saya terfikir, tidak perlu ragu lagi kerna Allah mengetahui segala perkerjaan kita, apa yang kita buat ikhlas atau tidak. Hadiah itu tidak perlu kisah sangat kerana ia mungkin dapat segera dan mungkin juga lambat. Macam tu jugak la pemberian Allah Taala kepada kita, barang siapa yang berusaha dengan ikhlas tanpa mengharapkan apa-apa, nescaya dia akan menganugerahkan kita pahala yang besar disisinya. Kita tak perlu meminta-minta tetapi sentiasa berdoa berharap agar segala penat lelah kita mendapat keredhaan dan rahmat dariNya. =)

Cubalah untuk menerima dan redha terhadap apa yang ditakdirkan oleh Allah kerana Allah itu Maha Adil dan tidak mungkin melakukan kezaliman terhadap makhlukNya. Apa yangb ditentukan kepada manusia di luar dari pilihan manusia adalh kebijaksanaan dan keadilan Allah. Ada sesuatu hikmah disebalik ketentuan itu. Mungkin apa yang kita rasa baik sebenarnya adalah buruk bagi kita dan yang buruk itu sebenarnya baik bagi kita. Allah lebih mengetahui apa yang tidak ketahui. So, BE POSITIVE!!

Jadi, ada sebab kenapa apa yang kita impikan belum kita perolehi, bersabarlah!! Mungkin sebab kita terlalu leka urusan dunia hingga terkadang lupa padanya, Mungkin juga kita sering melengahkan kewajiban  kita kepadaNya atau Dia hanya meguji kita sebagai hambaNya. Dan jika Dia memberikan segala yang kita impikan itu juga merupakan  ujian buat kita, untuk melihat adakah kita seorang yang bersyukur ataupun terus alpa leka bila mendapat kesenangan.

 Jadi disini kita boleh berfikir sebenarnya, kita akan dapat apa yang kita impikan, jika kita senantiasa berdoa dan bersabardan terus bersabar kerana disitula kita akan rasa kemanisannya jika kita mendapatkan sesuatu yang diidamkan. Dan yakinlah  Allah akan sentiasa menguji tahap keimanan dan ketaqwaan kita terhadapNya dalam apa keadaan pun =).

Saya sentiasa mengimpikan kehidupan yang baik dan semoga jalan hidup yang dipilih ini merupakan jalan yang terbaik menuju Ilahi. Saya sentiasa mengharapkan diri ini sentiasa kuat dan tabah dalam menghadapi sebarang keadaan didunia penuh pancarobani ini, iaitu DUNIA AKHIR ZAMAN, ya zaman yang kita sedang lalui ini. Dan saya sangat takut menghadapi nerakaNya itu yang penuh azab itu. Apakah nasib saya nanti, merasa takut dan terfikir juga adakah diri ini layak menghuni Syurganya. Diri ini bukanlah baik, banyak, banyak, dan banyak sangat kekurangannya. (T_T)

Tetapi apa yang saya tahu, hidup perlu diteruskan, bersahabat dengan mereka-mereka yang dapat membawa diri kita kepadaNya, sahabat-sahabat yang sentiasa mengingatkan kita kepadaNya. Disamping terus menimba ilmu sebanyak mungkin. Motivasi diri yang tinggi dan bersikap positif amatlah perlu kerana itulah kekuatan yang Allah kurniakan buat hambanya yang sentiasa berfikir. Dan jangan sesekali berputus asa dengan rahmatNya. Kerana Dia sentiasa ada bersama-sama kita, cuma terkadang kitalah yang selalu melupakanNya. Pintu taubat sentiasa terbuka untuk hamba-hambaNya.

Dan itulah hadiah terbesar buat kita. SYURGA bagi mereka yang beriman denganNya. Apakah kita berpeluang?? Adakah kita akan menghuni Syurga itu? Semuanya berbalik pada diri masing-masing. Tanya iman masing-masaing. Salam Muhasabah!!
